i heard utorrent (microtorrent) is pretty good cause its a very small file and uses the least amount of resources. plus you don't have to install the program because there is a stand-alone version.

i heard bitcomet's bad because all the other torrent clients are starting to ban bitcomet due to the fact that some are complaining bitcomet clients allow people not to upload and so every client is boycotting bitcomet by not sharing to them. something like that

i've started with azureus. After a couple of year's, I got problems with the connections. I decided to give up Azureus and started with uTorrent.
uTorrent is much better: no installation & needs resource less than Azureus.

uTorrent is the best provided you know how to set it properly.

uTorrent is good because it has Encryption option and light on resources. Azureus is not bad because it also has Encryption option, but much heavier on resources. Never used BitComet.

I think it's up to you, depending on how fast your computer is and what functions you want/need from the client. I like uTorrent for simple and light BT client. I used Azureus before with it's plugin, such as PeerSafe (i.e. block bad ip ranges such as the MPAA or RIAA, etc). But then I found out that I can use uTorrent to do the same thing.

azureus if you need extensions/plugins, perfect if u have a dedicated computer just to download and media sharing :)

stick to utorrent if you only have one computer for everyday stuff+download.

i have used bitcomet and utorrent.
if compare download speed, is depend on seed.
if compare function wise, bitcomet can add file to the downloading task, but utorrent unable to do it.

I only like using bitcomet and azureus. Easy to use and fast downloads.
