It also depends on how long you boil it, I know people who just dump the tea bags in hot water and drink from it, but I boil them to make darker and more flavourful tea -^_^ And milk helps dilute the caffeine too -tongue2
^Hmm...how long do you leave the teabags in the water? Cos I normally don't leave it in for more than 5 mins, but I have friends who leave it in for a long time...
I dump them in cold (tap but filtered) water then bring it to a boil... And check for colour... Usually around 3 minutes after boiling... I hate to see my tea bags floating in my tea... It's GROSS when it is popping up and down in the milk tea... =_=b That's why I have my tea pot (and/or tea infuser) handy -^_^
umm yea.. ok there.. wat about "jow cha" .. (morning tea) at yum cha places..are you sleepy in the morning? hehe -lol
Maybe you built up your threshold on caffeine from coffees? This theory is totally un-scientific of course... -sweat I usually drink tea to help me wake up... Except for chamomile (spelling?) with honey which does help me sleep... But that is the only type of tea which doesn't keep me awake...
i like the flavor after u add the milk and sugar (plus it might just be my taste buds)...but of course it can't compete with the real deal red tea ^ nah your premise is good...you can build tolerance to caffine and you can suffer withdrawal symptoms from a lack of caffine. Caffine is like any other drug. For me i can go 4 cups coffee and still sleep at nite...but that is just me
^ i used to get monster headaches from it.....then drink some caffine and the headaces would go away...it was weird. But for some reason my body has adapted to my irregular caffine habit now.... some of the my other friends start shaking and act like they are on meth or somethin (minus the tweaking) but like meth research has shown that coffee is addiction like drugs. here are other side effects: Headaches, Irritability Intensification of premenstrual symptoms Fatigue Generalized muscular tension Nausea Lack of appetite Constipation Lack of concentration Disorientation Forgetfulness
if you go to a store and buy milk tea, don't they usually use red tea? anyways, i usually use green tea or red tea.
green or black is what i usually see at bubble tea places. i've had red before...but what is yellow or orange?
