i remember when i went with my friend to London to make some deliveries. it was my job to read the map to find all the roads (first time reading map and first time driving around London properly).... flaming pursued. i gave him the benefit of the doubt cus he is easily frustrated, i was stuck in the van, not like i could get out and walk back to Birmingham or hitch a ride and get murdered. PS i hate London 1 way roads, they got me messed up the most.
Doesn't the maps show one-ways??? But I do agree that one-way roads and no-turning intersections are the bane of my existence when navigating... Good that they don't apply to pedestrians -lol
Don't worry! You're not the only one. I've been living in NY, since i was born and, i didn't know about public transportations until about, a year ago (sad isn't it?).
Same here. When I drive, I expect total silence, humor,or good music when I'm lost, I can't concentrate when people are being pissy about being lost XD.
dude, I was in your situation once and I wish I could slap those people who were bitching. Next time, just tell them to either say something helpful or shut the F up.
So proud of you that you didn't snap, dear. I think I would usually make sure one of my friends knew the way before going, because unfortunately, I am navigationally challenged. And if they started yelling at me, I'd just leave them. They don't deserve to be with me ^__^
thats what friends are for.......you gotta have fights and arguements for them to last long.... i remember when i was doing an installation for Nike store, we were waniting for an elevator, and this woman popped out of nowhere and tried to get in b4 us, when only one can go at a time....so we got in and didnt let her in cuz no room and she's bitching how we are mean....lol
yesterday i was driving around in oregan while i was a little lost and came across the bowling alley. my friend in the car said he will hella kick my ass in bowling. so after passing it up we were like lets go play. i turn around and hop back on the freeway and try to get off the exit i exited eairler. exited some other exit and was lost for about 45mins trying to find this bowling alley. after passing the same intersection like 4-5 times and doing about 15 u-turns, i stop to talk with the other guys in the other car. they were all hella bitching and whinning. i just told them we're finding the bowling alley and if u want u guys can just go back to the hotel. they just shuted up and followed.
Some people just don't know how to appreciate what others are doing for them. Don't mind them. I actually prefer travelling alone, and I normally scout the area on my own and plan the journey if I have to lead the way. That way I can avoid embarrassment.
People have done that to me, but one way to handle it is ask them if they have a better idea to resolve the issue. it's pretty stupid that they start b*tching at you without first trying to figure out a solution.
