Bitcomet Booster Tweak, Works Amazingly!!!

anyone know of a site that test your internet line??

 

doing this tweak made my speed go all random...though it does go faster here n there but only for a couple of seconds..n then it start to slow down like crazy so i just reverted back to normal setting..

For me the default settings (have everything on auto) worked the best without dht enable.

I dont see any changes before and after applying those tweaks.

I've tried those tweak settings........ : ( unfortunately there was no effect on my Bitcomet. I believe those settings are great but where I live the ISP seems to be Throttling all Bittorrent connections.

:( all my Bitcomet downloads are slow as a snail. I've even tried U-torrent to no avail.

 

A lot of trackers ban bitcomet users because it uses methods that boost your speed at the expense of others. Try a different program like utorrent.

 

It wont let me uncheck Enable Pulblic DHT network

Anybody have problems with the maximum number of NAT ports available on your firewall/router. I have a old WatchGuard firewall at home, and it has a maximum of 1000 ports available. When I try to download more than 1 torrent, my NAT ports max out and all internet stops until a slot opens. Its a pain in the ass, I'm using uTorrent but I've had this problem with all clients~

yeh these dont often work,

increasing maximum connections doesnt work, because even at 200 connections BC automatically searches for the best connections, so increasing it to 500+ means u just got a load of useless connections

the best thing to do is check if ur using a router, port forwarding is allowed on the correct port and also, many ISPs block BT traffic during peak times. For example, i live in UK and use BT (ISP) and if i use Bittorrent before 11.30pm my speed is <30kBs but after 11.30pm the speed can go from 100+ per torrent

 

which version on bitcomet can download best for u?.. and with which windows ..? i feel bitcomet is getting slower and slower ...

i guess its not effective for most of you, but its really given me a boost, doubles my speed. I also advise bitcomet users NOT to update to .79 because some features are removed, use .70 for optimal speed. But then again it all depends on seeds and other downloaders. opening up more connections improve download speed because you connect to more peers therefore getting more Kb/s. And for those on a Router,

FORWARD YOUR LISTEN PORT OR YOUR DOWNLOAD SPEED WILL BE THE SPEED OF A SNAIL.



My ISP Advertised Speeds-4M up and Around 300K Up

I started downloading the Warlords torrent (8GB) when it came out (Tuesday). Right now is 3:00AM Thrusday and its 70%. And i did not leave it on overnight at all, so thats a total of about 24 Hours.
