mmmm...i had a banh mi for lunch today...it was sooo wonderful... and then i made goi cuon tom for dinner....mmmmmmm...life is good.
^ i make disproportional and small ones...i use like plain pork, shrimp, and the veggies, and soak that skin in hot water than wrap, then dip in badly made sauce haha....doesn't taste as good, rather buy cause i'm lazy.... wait so you like Bun Bo Hue right....i would consider that to be banh canh ish with that fat noodles and all....but it's better than the normal banh canh i guess... ohhh i want mmmm....add the lemon and shit and your good to go.
i'm not really a fan of either. i'm a pho girl... oooohhhh...but i LOVE LOVE LOVE shrimp paste... shrimp paste, put in green onions thats been fried in oil and add a load of lemons + a couple of chili peppers, put on top of these thick noodle...called boun i think...omg...sooo yummy... or fry up tofu and dip into the shrimp paste sauce....to DIE FOR!!! i've been making goi cuon for so long...i've perfected it...shrimp, lettuce, pig skin, coriander, that herb...don't know what it's called but really really good, yor, shrimp and loads of peanuts...mmmmmmm
