I think the m5 looks mean as f*ck - I like it You can get aftermarket chips that take away the speed restriction - I think its restricted at 150mph but capable of doing 200mph Unless your talking about the need to press the "m" button, which in my view is a good idea cause you dont always want the engine to be on full power. For fuel and comfort reasons. But when you want to push it to the max, the button is there for you
M5 looks siiick, no doubt. But even if I had the money I wouldn't buy any 5 series at my age. It's too big, and it's more for older businessmen, doctors, lawyers etc. If I had the money for an M5, I'd get an S2K, spend a bit on mods, then invest what's left over.

If they see a guy in his 20s driving an s2000, or an M3, then it's his car and that's hot. Sure, his dad probably bought it for him, but as long as it's his own car. I think it is would be more funny to bust ur ass in law school/medical school/business school, get ur M5 when ur an older and then smoke the young punks with rich daddys. Can you imagine some 20 year old kid in an M3 convertible gettin owned by a 65 year old geezer in an M5? hahaha. If I ever pass the CFA exams, I'm gonna be that old geezer.

of course... BMW... lol u cant anything about them even if they are slow.. But, you are talking about a stock prelude here... if u built ur internals and turboed it at high boost it would take an M3 down... An Sti or Evo would take one down with little or no mods... But again, as i said, its a BMW... lol

2 words: Bugatti Vehron. Freakin awesome. Would whoop the McClaren F1 any day of the week. But yeah, the M3 is a sweet ride. I plan to ditch a lung (useless) and get one.
the upcoming 335i biturbo is comparable to the e46, but let's see how the next m3 in 2007/2008 will be like. not to mention nissan gtr will be released around that same time as well.
I like the exterior looks, but not so much of the interior. It's simple with no distractions, which is good, but i guess i don't have the feeling of being in a lux car with all the fancy stuff
