BMW or Audi

the vw golf gti is brill i think haha. but then again so is audi and bmw.

 

BMW FTW...but lots of ppl wtih 3 series now...makes it look bad bc its too common now

 

I am currently a 3 series BMW owner, and I do like both Audi and BMW. If you planning to keep the car for a longer period, I would suggest go with BMW, cuz the resale value is much higher for BMW compared to Audi. In my opinion, BMW is a better car for handling however the interior compared to Audi is suck. Audi has superior interior design. So both brand is quite nice and it is pretty much depend on your preference and budget of which model to get. I like the Audi A5 however I believe the price is too higher for it. Performance wise, I would choose a BMW. Nothing beat's BMW engineering when it comes to weight distribution, and performance handling. Choose a BMW and a Audi car within the same class and the Audi rarely wins in a performance test, i.e. slalom, braking distance, lap times. However, I believe Audi has been designing cars that are much more aesthetically pleasing then BMWs. The lines on a Audi is much more appealing to a younger generation and is definitely on cue. Their designing it with a lower and wider stance for a aggressive sports stance. Their interiors are also top notch as their known to have everything within your finger types, and the styling here is also outstanding. That is not to say BMW isn't as comfortable, but BMW needs to revamp their styling a bit and start moving on from the polished wooden dashes and the same control layout. The iDrive system and the GPS navigation system has been the biggest complaint from end user's and BMW just can't seem to get it right. Over all feel - Audi wins. Performance oriented - BMW wins. Luxury, comfortability, reliability - Their both pretty even.

I tried to give a unbiased opinion even though I'm a BMW fan. Though I'm slowly trickling over to Audi... It's too bad they won't release the Audi TT RS in the states.

I'm also decidin whether which car to own next... Driven my gf's A4 convertible and it's not as powerful as my other gf's 328i. The 3 series feels really good but I am crazy abt Audi's projector lights! Still thinkin tho...

as a car owner i have own both brand cars before. BMW engine is more agressive but audi is not weak aswell. for inside design Audi wins. love it.

after my holiday back im thinking to pull out a Audi RS5 as many reviews on youtube haha i might start my first car reviews haha that will be something mad lol

I don't know about BMW, but as an owner of an Audi A4, I would say make sure you account for the maintenance cost if you plan on keeping it past it's factory warranty. Also, the trade-in value of an audi (even at an audi dealership) is way below what is shown on kbb or edmunds.

I would have to say BMW, they're warranty coverage is just by far better, Audi car quality is just not so great, and i know this cause my uncle is a Audi mechanic.

 

Switched from BMW to Audi. Audi cars are just getting better.
