still.. i heard ppl say that console don't get as good fps and stuff as pc.. console games are more animated thats what i heard.. lol.. and atm.. my ps3 can only run in component cable.. our hdmi cable sucks..
^but i doubt your half height graphics card can even run those games... you probably need at least an nvidia 8600 to run games better than the ps3 at the moment or something and then all these other stuff. save some money...play games on a ps3 at the moment since you have it...go get a better hdmi cable if you care. better than sheding a couple grand for a new comp or 200 bucks for a new half-height graphics card lol. or do what you want and spend the cash if you got some left.
:(. If its about price, then I don't think you will see a major drop anytime soon, since the PS3 is doing pretty good right. :( So many people bought one today lol. Same with 360. But of course the Wii was no where to be found -lol. PC gaming is dying. Well not literally, its just a lot weaker than before. -whistle Why? Its just a waste of money. Most the high end shooters (excluding Crysis of course...) can be found on the consoles. Call Of Duty + Unreal Tournament for example. And from what I've heard its not worth upgrading your computer for that one game. Even though it is a good game, not worth spending so much money just to be able to play it.
nah.. actually i want to play some other games.. but my main focus is to play call of duty 4.. lol my friend brought his computer to fry's.. fry's ripped him off so badly.. upgraded the rams for no reason.. psu.. for overpriced.. and he paid like $400 for his 8800gts..
Just buy it for PS3. You save yourself a couple hundred bucks and you can still play COD 4. Its not at all bad on the consoles. Its just as fun. BTW Anyone got any more deals for boxing day sales that go past today? Preferably headphones.
not in canada hehe.. in US is a 5 day sale after chirstmas lolz i got myself the zune premium headphones travel package original price for $80 and paid only $30 hehe lolz
no computers are future proof for games though as computer technology change each year but ps3 probably can run the games that are coming out 3-4 years later that are also on the computer. so playing games on a gaming console is a better deal, but yea i can't argue with hardcore computer gamers lol... @khaotic, if you want info on headphones go to kontradiction's thread...but if you only care about the pricing on boxing day can't help lol. but hope there are the $100 shures for sale now or something lol. and if you on like a 20 dollar budget try to get the jvc marshmallow cause they look good and i would've got them if i didn't get another one....
