sure it can but you can't get it working fine just like that it's something you both gotta work on every day.

depends on what you call love

  5. @ecko lol :p

ontopic :it is possible.. but most relationschips doesnt last that long cause soon one will get bored of the other or they argue to much..

and also offcourse depends on personality.. if you know your BF/GF is a big player or had like 20 relationschips before he was 15 it says enough about how someone think about a relationship;)

    I'm in a relationship since 7 years and I think it's possible...

ok, you never know but if you really really love someone

and the other person loves you in the same way it is possible...

but there aren't just lovely situations, it's hard as well

I think it's possible. But I also think that it requires a commitment that isn't just based on feelings.

i learned in psychology that love is something produced by your brain or something like that, it can only last up to 3 yrs at max then it slowly fades away..

i learn this like 2 yrs ago..lol but of course this is the science point of view..;p

in the non-science point of view then yes it can last forever

it depends if you believe in love!
love can last a lifetime if you have found your ultimate match!
i have to say that not everyone is that likely to find that person and even if they do they may not cherish it!

All feelings/emotions are a product of chemical reactions in the brain [IMG]

IMO there's no such thing as romantic true love, only the illusion of it.
The only love that could possibly last "forever" is that of family and of yourself.

Its definitely possible, however it happens when you least expect it.

  15. Can love really last a life time? hell. it can last FOREVER!

I love my family, and i will never stop loving my family. I will love everyone in my family without question, and indefinitely.

I do think love can last a lifetime, however, they come at a price. Like growing a plant or learning a second/third/fourth language, you will have to maintain it. If you just let it grow without trimming it or practicing it, you'll lose it. And that applies particularly in the romantic love, as in the relationship type.
On a brighter note, I think friend's love (I despise the word friendship, it sounded ridiculously formal) and familial love is forever, you'll have your ups and downs, but since there are more than the momentary affection, it should outlast us all.

i've never been in love so i wouldn't really know.

but to think about it; for old couples who've been together for 40..50 years, do they really love each other? or maybe..they figured they're old neways, why divorce? or "who cares"..it's not like they're still young to go out n flirt lmao =x -lol those r the thoughts probably running through their heads, so thats why they decide to stick with what they've got? -shrug
