I'm learning mando at the moment, and I'm sure i'm developing a weird hybrid accent from all the different teachers who teach me each semester.
i think so cause some of my relatives developed an accent for their chinese even though it was their first language...
yeah, some of them do...like if they don't speak them for a long time then they will start having accent.
I think if you really want to grow an accent and really try to change it than it might work. Dialect though might be tougher. I've lived in Sweden my whole life yet, people from the north of Sweden can tell my dialect apart from those Swedes I'm grown up with.
^^^Stalker...lol..BBear...uv got a lover boii...lol.... back on topic...i think i have a chinese and english accent...lol when i type..of course i have no problem...but when i speak english...i mite think in chinese...sometimes i some how cant finish a word which leaves some sort of weird chinese accent..lol..and even tho i dunt seem to have a speaking chinese difficulty...i still didnt keep on learning to read and write chinese when i was little... for a 3 year old i speaked chinese pretty good...so in the process of learning english i kinda lost my chinese for a few years....so when i speak too fast in chinese i probably have an accent...
i cant rely tel if ppl are canadians or americans - because they sound all 2 same....so different in UK - cos everyone has different accents - like the english, scottish, irish...differs in different places
