BenQ-Siemens E81 While on the move, videos can be followed in high quality via a fast UMTS link on the 1.8 inch mobile display (262,144 colors, picture definition 176 x 220 pixels). Motorola's 9mm MOTOFONE Eat your heart out, Samsung. Well, not really, since Motorola's new MOTOFONE is not only 2.1mm thicker than Samsung's current record holding X820, but also comes up quite short in the features department. Instead the new MOTOFONE, coming in GSM and CDMA flavors at a svelte 0.35-inches, is targeting first time wireless users, prepaid buyers, and developing countries. Luckily, while Moto was weeding out those "nonessentials" like a camera, MP3 playback and a color screen (The MOTOFONE has instead an electrophoretic display with similarities to e-paper) they managed to lose that unsightly hump Samsung slapped onto the X820. Motorola's thinnest phone does include some niceties beyond size, like local language voice prompts for ease of use, dust and sun resistance, and "extended" battery life. There's no word on price or a release date, but we're sure we can find enough change in our couch for whenever it does come around. Phone Scoop is calling this unit part of Motorola's "Scalpel" platform, of which the rumored SCPL should be a bit more of an exciting member.
Verizon and LG release Chocolate phone With release dates galore, unboxing pics and of course a whole former life as Korea-only hawterness, you can understand if we're happy to be "done" with this one. Verizon has finally released LG's Chocolate phone, the VX8500. There's a mostly a dearth of surprises: sexy slider action in a 0.69-inch thick form factor, V Cast Music store support, 1.3 megapixel camera and some speedy EV-DO. The biggest news is that along with the release, Verizon is dropping the $15 monthly fee from their V Cast Music store, making downloads "only" cost the two buck fee for dual PC and phone downloads. So, if you haven't already bought one and sent us unboxing pics, you can pick up the $150 phone (after a $50 rebate) and be the coolest kid on your block for at least five seconds.
^ oh ive seen that phone around and ive gotta say it is very very nice especially when you slide it up - very smooth ive seen a white version to be release soon and that also looks very nice
YES YES I agree!! Arr... It's so over-rated here in Canada, all those white kids trying to think they're so hip and in by getting the RAZR. Bah, the Razr is already two years old, but the white kids treat it like some kind of cel-phone god - buying cases and going all out to pimp their phone - when in reality, it's not that good of a phone... compared to what is available now, like all these phones you guys are posting White people have no taste in phones They think they're chasing the latest technology ... they really should learn from us Asians.
lol so many different types of razrs lol the last razr looked pretty good lol japanese technology I have a sony ericcson w810i but itz not 3g -.-' lol the lg chocolate phone looks awesome lol
