Even Vanessa Hudgens had a crisis or two with Disney when her scandal was going on, and it was in the so-called open US. I wouldn't expect anything less from the conservative Hong Kong. I am surprised, actually, that Edison was not shot or publicly disowned by every last friend he has already. I never say anything about the morality of those pictures, after all, if those photos are taken with consent (that is, whoever in the photo knows full well that they are being photographed), then there's no such question of morality because it's not dubious. Edison has a fetish of some sort, whatever, it's not a shame. It was his fault to handle the photos carelessly, yet his "fault" stops there. To claim that it's ALL his fault is unfair judgment, because that would imply that those female celebrities are not responsible AT ALL. Now now, given that the photos were not taken against their will, I think it's unfair to say that they are entirely isolated from responsibility. It's funny you talk about the character of a celebrity. I don't think I perceive a celebrity capable of having a "character", it's just an image driven by profit to be earned. Just imagine, if Edison Chen isn't as outrageous as he is, he would just remain a namelessly faded semi-celebrity returning from Canada; if Gillian was not as angelic or virginal (yet "healthily sexy") as required by TWINS, my guess is that she's nothing but a second rated "singer" with lukewarm fame.
