Chinese servers rude

    Yes they are....they just don't get the proper training like the english restaurants do with standards

    I think the Chinese waiters are a fair representation of the Chinese people.

    In general, if you're talking lower economic strata, then I would agree. Chinese people in the upper tiers tend to be a lot more conservative and well mannered. Even if they're not, they know how to put up a good show.

    I don't know about fingering somebody's entree, but I recall witnessing a Guangzhou waitress sitting in the relatively empty dining room that we were eating in, paying us no mind, raptly popping her zits in a mirror while she was talking to a co-worker, who was equally self absorbed picking her nose. Needless to say, we skipped dessert. LOL... :ugh2:

    I live in Vancouver and most Chinese restaurants have impolite servers. But maybe I should sympathize with them because many of the patrons are quite rude also, especially the "wealthy" ones who think the servers are slaves to spit on.

    yea they are rude manily because it is busy and they try to serve everybody at the same time
