my dad is from shanghai..mom from HK so that makes me........HK? lol i perfer HK since i was born there =p
Born in Australia, mum full Vietnamese decendant, dad from Vietnam but chinese decendant, cant speak a word of Vietnamese but can speak fluent Cantonese. I think im more Chinese than Australian...which category does this fall under...?
my parents are from hong kong.. but sadly im born in the netherlands and when i was born my parents didnt had china pasport anymore since theres a law in the netherlands where you can only have 1 pasport at the time :( so they became dutch citizens... so im actully DUTCH /cry me want hong kong passport :(
guandong is officially part of china so you cant really vote hk, but i understand why some people prefer to choose hk.
^ Guangdong is part of China alright, but the fact that HK is a Special Administrative Region make it "different" from the rest of China. IMHO, I think there should be options for XinZhan too. That's SAR too isn't it?
WTH! why are there only 4 options in the poll???? -noclue pls dun tell me that the only 4 places that have Chinese in your dictionary..
I agree.. there should be... Technically, not all Chinese are from China.. you can't go tracing back your roots and say you came from China. You can also say your ancestors came from China. My grandparents were from China. Migrated to S'pore and M'sia (mom and dad side different).. and gave birth to my parents generation. So that makes my parents technically Singaporean/ Malaysian Chinese. And me too..
