WELL. This is not k-pop so it shouldn't be judged from a k-pop perspective, but I'm not a fan of the song. All I can ask for is her to succeed and not let 2NE1 down.

She, like Hyuna, has good stage presence. I guess with this song she's trying to appeal to the American market so you can't look at this from a K-pop perspective (cause it's not K-pop!) Regardless, I don't like it. I thought the lyrics were dumb.
It's your perspective but not every else. A lot of Korean media is all over CL and her activities in the US and if she can do well in it. I like CL...that's about it...
My perspective of what? The lyrics? Sure; I mean I'm not going to force you to dislike the lyrics like I do. But reading the comments many weren't a fan of the lyrics either. Of course the Korean media will be all over it. Even YG said whether or not 2NE1 will advance into the American market depends on her success with her debut.
Why da heck rap about a soda drink? And that style music/video was like Keith Ape who is the next popular Korean after PSY. Ape wasn't a joke like PSY though.

I just expected something better lyrically since she's from YG. Everything else about the song was not bad (not great either), it's just the lyrics could be better.
