I think that there is something wrong with her expression. The real Song Hye-Kyo has a much cuter smile -drool -drool -drool
Here is an other sample of real looking CG. This time a self-portrait: The Artist himself, Piotr Wysocki (3D) Title: The Artist himself Name: Piotr Wysocki Country: United Kingdom Software: Maya, mental ray, Photoshop, ZBrush here is screenshot form maya :
actually they've done that before they had someone all dressed in blue (like a blue screen deal) walk around and interact with the actors and then they replaced him with a CG model of Elvis it was just so they could have scenes with parts of when Elvis was still alive and talking about his life
the cg of her have no 'life' in the eye...lol i dont know how to put it in words...it doesnt gives me the 'living thing' feeling when u look into the eye
o ya.. I heard the adidas ad using all those famous soccer stars also used cg technology.. not sure how true.. but it looks pretty real anyway.
It's impressive, but not really something new or shocking, I see this kind of graphics everyday although I'm still in uni, studying to become a graphic designer in the computer game field. Personally though... I don't like the idea of photorealistic computer graphics, the real world is gray and boring enough already, I don't wanna be part of a "fake" reality
yea computer graphics has come a long way. as more and more information is packed into each pixel, the better and more realistic images we will get.
i do agree the more realizistic some things look, it loses a lot of creativity, of the stuff that is can only be imagined out of your mind besides lots of movies like happy feet, it loses a lot of the cutest factor by being to realizistic
It's not like CGI doesn't cost much nowadays... with the elaborate designs, they are becoming costly quick too...
