GAH. all of you and your quad-cores. i got merely a quarter-core thats venturing on the brink of extinction. send it thru mail and ill join the club of the quad-cores -lol -lol -lol man, i dont wanna get a dual core or core 2 duo.... right now its all about the quad core.. the double cores are downing soon..
man this sucks.. wanted to build a pc so i dont have to pay much, and even after hunting for parts with the lowest price, on clearance, discounts, its still over 500 which i dont have because i am a poor ass student..
man i soo want this right now: Top Page:http://i4.tinypic.com/72h2fdu.jpg Bottom Page:http://i12.tinypic.com/89hhm9w.jpg with those specs and the reasonable price (well is it?), but gonna have to stick with my old one since i upgraded stuff on it recently and i don't have 1.5k lol...
lolz.. today i went to office depot, saw a emachine with a spec of amd x2 4000+, DVD burner, media flash card reader, 320gb hd, 1gb ram, 6150SE graphics for $276 out the door price hehehe.. display model only.. saw a quad core comp for $630 out the door price also which is a gateway lmao lol my current setup of my own computer is uhh 380w psu amd x2 4800+ 2600xt 512mb vid card dvd burner 250gb hd 2gb ram 22" monitor
^lol but that $630 quad core doesn't have a 8800gt, blue ray/dvd rw dual drive/ XPS 420 case/ 4gb of 800mhz ram and a 4 year Dell warranty lol...still dunno if it's really actually possible to get a $1000 off deal like that cause it requires membership discounts, heard you can get that by calling the Dell Employees though, but you can configure a quad core dell without member discounts: 500gb and a ATI HD 2600XT for $750 now with a $350 off coupon. just add the additional RAM yourself and you can get like 4gb of RAM plus the comp for like 850 bucks.
The plugs on the motherboard only reads the speed of the fans. You don't have to plug the fans in to the motherboard for them to work.
yea the xps is nice.. but no monitor.. =/ i wanted the xps all in one.. but i wouldn't be able to upgrade the thing..
^too bad you can't take the blue ray option off, coulda got a monitor with that money and blue ray is bound to drop in the future and it's unnecessary in a comp now, my pretty new 22inch couldn't even support HDMI. The XPS 420 case is nice though, it even has that little screen at the top that can run these so called gadgets and stuff lol.
yea I like the all in one monitor.. too bad they can't just make a monitor like that.. and you can always get dvi to hdmi..
but wouldn't the signal be better if it was hdmi compatible, anyways gonna go more into that HD/Blue Ray entertainment like next year lol cause TV would be broadcast in HD during 2009 anyways, sticking with the old school equipment now. Oh yea and the Dell XPS ONE all in one, too bad you can add a good graphics card too and it's only 20inch. rather get it seperate even if it's more clean.
for dell coupons, only work on some computer and you have to get a total price of $999 or more then you can use the $350 off coupon.. and why the hell would you pay so much for a computer?? lolz
^uhhh $750 is alot for a quad core and a decent graphics card computer? i think someone here spent more on upgrades alone..... -whistle
^lol possible, but without quad core if you want the ati radeon xt.... http://i13.tinypic.com/7y3bakk.jpg not time for a new comp for me yet though or i'll cop it haha...
wait so who's getting a new computer?? damn with the price of upgrades I shoulda jus dropped like 2K on a beast instead.. last me hella years.. -lol
^i want to , cause just the other day, i tried to turn my on and the led at the front was just flashing and clicking and it wasn't booting, scared me for like 1/2 hour cause i didn't back up anything lol...but it ain't broke yet so i'm not getting one just yet haha. and yea dude you can just get that 1.5k XPS or build your own monster rig for less than 2k.
