well original card on it is nvidia.. i guess a tad bit of difference on price I should still go for the 8800 gt huh??
no clue doesn't seem much difference.. well the mobo is an nfoce6m-a.. using 2600xt.. but i didnt install the mobo software for the nvidia so not so mixed i guess.. who knows.. lol

i use mwave.com but thats cuz i live near it and i just pick it up in person. prices are fairly competitive though. as for power supplys i hope im not too late. I would suggest taking a look at NVIdia's site for recommended power supplies to ensure you have one where the 12v rail has enough amps. 8800GT's suggest 26amps on the 12v rail.

no usually game developers are there to make money and will only create games where the majority of ppl can play on their comps so the graphics requirements are usually not that high depending on the game. though the power of graphics card will keep improving. so i wouldn't be surprised if the quads dropped in price fairly soon considering the rate that new technology is moving at.

something like that, although im not sure about the current prices i think its cause the phenoms are limited in stock cause AMD could not fab enough, plus they have that stupid hardware bug... so best wait for the B3 revision of the phenoms if you thinking AMD
