I have a very simple recipe which was taught to me by a hot HK guy It's sorta like fried tasty pork ribs and you just need: 1. 2 tablespoons of Chinese cookin wine 2. 2 tablespoons of vinegar or less 3. 2 tablespoons of soysauce or to taste And then you let the pork ribs cook ... add sugar to taste and ur done ... *Funny this supposed to be a recipe thread but i just noticed one other recipe here... lol
spagetti and meatballs are really easy to make, just cook the spagetti and warm frozen meatballs and a bottle of ketchup...then you are set for dinner =) boiling potatoes is not hard either...so on the whole not that much chopping in swedish food...maybe that is what makes it easier...=P
fried rice and noodles and some simple dishes like vegetables... the recipe for pork ribs sound very good ...yum yum....
Wow, cooking for the family at age 16.... Sugoi! O_O I didn't really need to cook until recently.... My parent's own a restaurant, so I just pop over for dinner. >=3 babyrain: Haha, but it's the fact that it was a 'hot HK guy' is what makes the dish more delicious, isn't it? ^^
^Lol... probably so; especially when he made it for me. I never get to make it as delicious as he did
Instant noodles and Yuen Chau Chow Faan are about the only things I can make. Oh and 'Wor Tip', one of my favorite kind of dumplings. But I'm a fast learner and my specialty at this moment is pasta. @ babyrain: I love spicy food! Share some recipe's? (means, you give me some recipe's as I don't know one myself, I just love to eat spicy food...)
i find cooking most chinese food is simple, you just throw the stuff in and it just works! it's the more traditional things i can't make, like the stuff parents make. i'm sure once you know it isn't that hard but meh :x specially all the takeaway stuff, really easy fried rice is probably the best thing ever
@Taxloss: Sure; but I think you might have difficulty getting all the ingredients as they are mostly Asian spices...?
