HAHAHA- aww I've been waiting so many years for this! I didn't take part in Beta Weekend :( Though, judging by players responses to the stress test, it doesn't seem to be meeting expectations? But well, just standard edition for me /o\ Except I won't be playing on, or soon after the release date because of my exams, boo.
i just hate the fact that they took out the freedom/customization of the ability slots....now it got fixed slots...BooHoo!
Well Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2 uses the same engine. But to say that D3 is just a re-skinned SC2 is pretty ignorant lol. Aside from engine, what are the similarities between D3 and SC2? Practically nothing. Different content, different game play, different mechanics. It's like saying all OpenGL games are the same, but only re-skinned. Does that really make any sense?
i didnt like the witch doctor too much....he seems good at the higher levels... i just dont like d3 for the whole skill unlock, and auto stats distribute. theres no customization in the game any more...you dont get to make the char your own...its pathetic
I don't believe so. Not in most aspects. You might think they detract from customization because of stats and talents but it was kinda just whatever in D2 with stat allocation. The runes are pretty much the coolest thing ever. It's a similar system to how they are doing WoW skills in the next expansion but this... it's Diablo. You're gonna solo or group with a small party and take on hundreds of monsters at once very quickly.
^call me mad....but 10 hrs to finish prototype 2 aint my type of game and the storyline suck...especially the fact that they trashed Alex's character away.....however, the good side to it is the gameplay (and a girl with nice ass)....tho it's really not THAT good...just my view of it..
Probably gonna be playing Demon Hunter on this one... looks like a fun class. Battlenet is going to destroy all my free time.
I don't like the auto stats and skill unlock either but they have there reasoning for doing so and it has its up and downs.. I'm looking forward to the rune system and marketplace.. I also really hate the fact that max players is a 4 player room and that it is auto partied.. You can't hostile in the same game and duel which is stupid..
You can join with your friend. I did party with 2 of my friend on the diablo3 weekend. Finish the demo, but only got up to lvl 8. :(
i'm sure there is a way, although i'm not entirely sure since it's not out yet. Well the main purpose I'm getting this game is to play with my friends.
i think i'm getting the digital version (1st time for any game)..... Is there any negative side towards it? or should i just grab the hard copy? What happen if i reboot my comp completely...what will happen then? Do i need to dled it again or prior to rebooting, i should burn the files that i dled (if possible)...?
