There's no downside to digital download. You can predownload and play when the clock hits 12AM. You may also back up those files for later on if you want or just redownload it.
Okay, so first of all if they are trying to make this similar to WoW then f-u blizzard, because WoW was pretty shit imo. Okay on to D3. So like most online games nowadays theres a friends list. You can add your friend by typing in their email, battletag (username) or id code. Once in your friends list you can view their characters, items, stats, skills. And when they are online, it will show, and you can join in as long as they arent in the middle of a quest, and you're not up to that point yet. So if they are numbers of quest ahead, you can't join because it wouldn't make sense having them kill D when you're lvl 1. The friend list will also show recently played players so if you join a random game or open your game to public, it will show those player names. I thought yall played the open beta, all of this was there. And I have the digital copy already, but am buying the retail version from BB =) You can just download the preinstall its about 7.6 gb to download, about 15 gb to install (plus the ingame server downloads).
ok, thx brah...gonna order the digital then i played the beta with random pplz and not friends...and u kno how D3 is very complicated, i didnt even kno u could customize the Skill interface until now by going through "options"...Blizz have to make things so complicated...now when the full version comes out, i'm gonna test and explore all the options available and then ill start playing... anyways, 13 MORE DAYS!!!!
I kidna wished they had templates for skills,so you can set up your skill set for a certain thing, and then load another if its for like a boss fight because its a hassle to change each of them individually. And i miss being able to press W....
^i think the reason they changed that because it's overpowered....they wanna make the game..."harder"...
I don't think having weapon switching would make the game harder or difficult. But then i looked at the weapon variety, its' not that much. I am happy though with the reduction of item sizes. a flamberge doesnt take up 8 squares lol.
^yea man, no matter what i do, time just keep getting slower...i hate this kinda feeling.....Now, if only they released Max payne out earlier, i would have time to kill....but too bad it's gonna be out during the same time as D3 and too too too too bad, the PC version of it aint gonna be release til later on...AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Perhaps, maybe this guy's my medicine:
act 1 was really disappointing...so i hope the rest holds up. the fucking special reveal was lame....i dont want to watch an animated movie. wheres the expansion pack for act 5?
^ u played the whole act 1? if you're talking about the Skeleton king part, that aint the whole thing...that's probably like 1/4 or 1/5 of the whole act 1... that is....unless you're in asia where i think they're playing already.. Got my shit install...just gotta wait now...
Idk.....seemed pretty fast to get to lvl 10 by the end of skeleton king....so....hopefully it is much longer Blizz said in the interview, the three difficulty levels Normal, Nightmare, and Hell. By the time oyu finish those runs you should be lvl 25, 40, 60 respectively. Accounting for four Acts in the game, it's about right.
I played the beta, wasnt impressed. If i open the game I cant return it......see see? big problem lolz
I like some of the new features but the game overall seems a lot easier than Diablo 2. I found Diablo 2 was more challenging, mind you, this is only after finishing Act I. The main thing for me on launch day was getting my character name claimed and since it only cost me $15 after trading in a bunch of games I got for free, I like it a whole lot more.
