Got my Chinese name first. But when I moved outta Chinatown and into a more urban area, I picked an English name so peers would have an easier time calling me in kindergarten.
Uhmmm, let's see. My grandma from my dad's side named me a Chinese name, then my dad gave me an English name. I kinda would liked it if my parents had an English name to match my Chinese one.
