Did your parents give you an English name or Chinese name first?

I don´t have a chinese name :(

 

French name --" in first
and a second Chinese name

 

I neva tot of matching Eng and Chinese name....I like both my names

 

Chinese name first... even though my parents call me by my english name. :S

 

ofcourse chinese first, coz they are origin from CHINA

 

I got my chinese first and chose my english name myself.

 

i got my chinese name first since i'm born in Hong kong, it wasn't until i came to Canada until i found out my parents had given me an english name, lol! sad, but true.

I got my Chinese name first, then my English. My English name is just an akward romanization of my Chinese name though, lol.

 

i thoguth bout changing my chinese name to an englihs name at first...but every1 knows me by my chinese name now...so no point in changing it

 

english name first which my parents got fr a baby name book...my grandparents went to a chinese temple to "ask" for a suitable chinese name n in the process made me Kuan Yin's "goddaughter".

hmm... my mum gav me a chinese name....& my grandma gav me a russian name LOLs... i guess my russian name is used most of the time... but i still like my chinese name LOLs! -clapclap

It's a nightmare when your own father decides to translate it back to the doctors...
Wish my parents were Mandarin speaking people...at least I'd have a reasonable name =[

i think that most chinese parents give their childrens chinese names first.
My dad did that
