love glasses I have glasses and love them, just don't like the pair I am wearing now because the lens keep popping out =P
I have glasses, but I don't really use them. I only use them in class when I want to look like I'm trying or if I really can't see what's on the board. Since I'm only 15 though, I'm sure it's gonna get worse later....in that case...contacts! I don't know my degree, but I know it's not that high.

I am, but being technically blind, unless one WANTS to be labelled disable (which in turn stops me from going to "regular" school, require me learning brille and other really inconvenient things) so no benefits for me Don't worry, you'll still be able to identify most of the shapes and colours from the entire retinal layer of the eye ball. It really depends, there were so discussion in this thread, if you are interested.

I think I'm gonna try contact lense on next appointment, I asked the doctor he said that I need to check first. If it's ok I'll my contact lenses in HK is cheaper^^ My friend's said that blue contact lense doesn't match with my eye color because I got black eyes. So it won't see any blue ^^ Maybe I'll try green! Red is too scary, If I take red all Girls will run away from me HaHa!
My friend got the green contacts, they look very cool! But it's true, the colour doesn't show up very prominently, just a slight tint of green over her brown eyes. But I know that if your vision is good, there are other brands of coloured contacts which has more prominent colours even when worn by a dark-eyed asian -- my other friend wear only coloured contacts (her visions like, I think, -2 and -1.75) and the purple and blue ones showed up pretty prominently on her. So I guess it depends how dark your eyes are -- mine are quite light brown (for an asian) so I should be okay... IF they make coloured contacts for -12 and -13

If you are going to buy the coloured contact in HK, try and ask the place if they have the brand/type Gigi Leung modeled for a few years back -- coz somehow they are VERY coloured. I forgot the details except for the fact that it was Gigi Leung who modeled the contacts (she wore a blue-green contact -- they look kind of scary ^^b)
Wow, you have the reading comprehension of a Bay Area Chinese kid that ties rubber bands around his size 40 jeans, and wears the same pair of Jordans everyday because he can't afford to buy more than one pair. Obviously there's a difference between natural blue eyes and contacts. And I said ASIANS. Asian guys with blue contacts look flamboyantly gay. Fact. Yeah, good taste and bad taste. I think you fall into the latter. :(
