I was born in canada but my parents are both chinese and i consider myself chinese because i speak it and my blood is chinese blood
Same, I was born in South America...but my parents are full chinese, I can speak chinese so I consider myself chinese. I also look chinese so people just say chinese >.>
No matter what you cale yourself, ppl are still gonna see you as chinese. I'm born in the u.s. so technically im american, but it feels so wrong to say im american instead of chinese! lol.
I don't quite know... -confused Sure, from the ethnical aspect, i'm fully Chinese because my parents are ethnically Chinese. But I was born in Germany, I grew up in Germany, can talk German better than Chinese, have only German friends. And legally I am a British. So... it's not that easy sometimes ^^ BTW: Some people here says things such as "100% Chinese", "Chinese blood", "strong bloodline", "100% pure" etc. Don't you feel a little funny when saying this? I mean, that is how the Nazis used to speak 60 years ago...
My parents were born in HK. I was born in France, I speak French better than Chinese. Some friends are Chinese but the others friends are French =/ At home with my brother, my sister and my father I speak french but with my mother I speak chinese Of course I considere myself Chinese but ... this year [ in Juli ] I went to HK and while I was walking in the street [alone or sometimes with my brother or my mother], the others were seeing me strangely u___u >> What I have difference compared a Chinese who lives in HK ? yes i consider myself chinese even if i wasnt born there because its like in your blood in your skin and in your life style u live like ur chinese u celebrate all the holidays u would celebrate over there the same way and everythign so i belive yeah im chinese
I was born in US, but my parents were born in China. But sometimes I feel kind of left out since I wasn't born in China. =[ But when you go to China or China Town don't you feel like you belong there, all the chinese people, stores, and restaurants.
I'm second generation Canadian. But my father is mixed european n my mum is chinese. I have family in both China and Taiwan but I consider my self Taiwanese because I read tradtional.
it doesnt matter if u were born in china or not, if ur parents are chinese u will still be chinese....
wat if my grandma was from china and moved to vietnam where my mom ws born but i ws born in the US what would that make me part chinese and part viet?

Well my parents are from HK and I was born in Israel but I still consider my self as Chinese I mean duh u can see I look chinese lol xD n lik if u say Im Israeli den it doesn look/sound good nyway xD ... Proud to be who I am =D
