    well i mark chinese on all those form they have me fill out where they ask what is my ethnicity. so i consider myself chinese even though i wasn't born in china.

    yup, def consider myself chinese. even though i was born in the US i don't like the american culture as much as i like chinese culture.

    I think no matter where we are born we are still what we are. We follow of parents and the generation will go on no matter where we are born. It is confirm that chinese is all around the world nationality is different from our race.

    I consider myself Chinese. I live in Canada and it's a multicultural society. What does it mean being Canadian anyway? I say i'm chinese Canadian.

    born in australia. consider myself chinese/vietnamese cos mum is vietnamese and dad is chinese and raised in an asian culture.

    if you're Chinese in blood, I dont see why u cant be, even if youre born in a different country?

    So I presume you would refer to yourself as HK and not Chinese. I was born in HK but I consider myself Chinese

    i wasn't born in china either, i live in canada but i read speak and write chinese so i guess i'm chinese right? lol

    Of course I consider myself Chinese even though I wasn't born in China. Can't change the fact that all our ancestors were Chinese and that doesn't make me any different.

    I consider myself Chinese even if my parents are not born in China. It is my race. I can be born in India or Africa. I am still Chinese.
