Maybe she is hard in hearing? I think my mum is...but she would NEVER own up to it. That will mean defeat...that she is OLD....
Hahaha that is funny -bigsmile....my mom still does that ....and I am already a mom myself!!! I guess in their eyes we are forever their baby....I'll remember not to do that to my children.

I totally agree with u lol,My mom says thing over and over again. And she isn't always that clear Mom:get some sauce Me:Wich sauce? Mom:u know that one uhm.... Me:Wich one!? Mom: The hot one Me:Wich hot one!? and then finally i know wich one she means
i think its a mum thing....i like to think its just a phase....meaning it wont last forever! makes me feel better!
To prevent repetitive comments from moms, may be it is time you find out what is the root cause of the repetition? Another words what is the objective and purpose of the repeated sayings. The cause of the repetition is usually just a few things. A comprehensive analysis of the root cause(s) may prevent further hapenings but this is going to be a big challenge to overturn.
I think we all think moms are annoying at one point or another but still they are great. I mean they raise us and took care of us when they are older it really is REQUIRED to reciprocate.
yea i think there is like some sorta blueprint for asian moms LOL When i was younger i would get lectured over and over and over about things and i would just sit there and take it.... now that i have learned more i correct her when she is blantly wrong about something.... >___> my mom thought being gay was hereditary.................... yeah, she didn't allow me having black friends, she is like suppperrrrrrr traditional, she would intrude on my phone conversations when i would be talking to my GF... and nag at me to eat this and eat that all while picking and putting it in my bowl... rawrr.... and she doesn't ever listen to what i have to say, and she has this I am you mother I know everything and what is right and wrong so I will have it no other way attitude..... >____< but a lot has changed and she has pretty much stopped doing it but of course not all of her habits have dropped and before i thought she just was a huge nuisance but now i think of it she just cares for my well being too much after all she is my mother and hell I damn well appreciate her even though she can get on my nerves...
it shouldnt be call annoying, it should change to 'worrying too much for her kids whom she loves so much' you shouldnt blame them for loving you and worrying about you. in a chinese saying 'for 100yrs of their life, they will worry about you for 99yrs'
ye every parent is gonna be annoying at some point in time but they do it as they have had the experience before and don't want u to go down the same route etc. they also know what is best for u on most occasions.
not annoying... just very "long-winded" [ cherng hei ]... and when playing mah jong... there could be an earthquake and she'd carry on anyway!
