I’m from Hong Kong & we’ve absolutely no accent in speaking English。 We didn’t catch Britsh accent (HK under UK’s rule until Jun 30,97) nor American accent。

Nope, no British accents but only a HK accent huh? ;)

And you're not lecturing the HK/Canto diaspora about HK's recent history I hope? -what?

I actually have no idea what kind of accent I have. When I try to speak Mandarin, I have a slight Cantonese accent. If I'm speaking in English (most of the time) I can have alot of different accents >.<

One time, someone asked me if I was from England since it sounded like I had a British accent. Then another time, someone thought I had a Brooklyn accent which I suppose isn't too bizarre, but I've only lived in Brooklyn for the first 2 years of my life. There are alot more incidents involving my accent, but...that'd be too many.

Not much of an accent, beside the use of strange phrases such as "good day" or "have a pleasant evening"
I think I caught that reading English (England-English, that is) novels... Agatha Christie perhaps.
So no accent in Cantoneses nor English, althought I do have a tendency to overuse proverbs in Cantonese.

  20. People always say I've got a London accent >.<
    Erm..no I don't!! GrRr
