Taiwan MJ has 16 tiles and HK MJ has 13 Tiles. I prefer to play Taiwan MJ since you can make or lose mad money quick haha,
i have no clue how points go but i love playing it! haha and watching pro do a game in like 8 mins is wicked awesome!! haha
The funny thing was that my 8 year old cousin taught me how to play mahjong. But i forgot it all in one day....It also had to do with the fact that i didn't really want to learn it since, i may start to gamble or, something like that, in the future.
is so funny alot of people i know how to play manjong, and i dont even know how play, i wish i could on online so i could play with my friends.
I think mahjong is a great game. Especially when you are trying to play 'big'. Great for gatherings etc. Wish there was more computer games about how to actually play mahjong and not those pick the tiles which are the same type kind of games. They make it boring
i often play it in yahoo but its just you couldn't win by getting the 13 unique wonders or whatever it is called in english. you only could win by doing the basic rules. like 4 pongs and a pair or kongs or chows -1,23, 4,6,5.
I only know the basic rules. But i dont experience the fun about it...>.< (i learned how to play chinese poker *cho tai tie* 3 months ago)-blush2
