Do you play Mahjong?

I love to play mahjong, and I do well with Fukienese style,. I don't really know how to play well in the cantonese style or the taiwanese style tho. I would really love to learn, but who likes to teach?

I think it's called "mah jong" in english because in mandarin (or at least mainland people I know), call it:

麻將 - which is literally read "ma jiang"... and I guess the closest english translation is ma jongg

those seniosrs no matter where they from they are scary when it comes to mj they are fast and got crazy memory

 

play it at least 3 times a week, with my 3 sisters

 

i just started playing it on yahoo. but i keep getting booted after a game... im so confused by the rules :(

lol play during family/friend gatherings ^^ it's a fun game, especially when it comes to moneyy $.$

 

i suck at mahjong..cuz i don't usually play it..=/ but a lot of my friends are good at it..

 

mahjong is easy to play but the "folds" are so hard to remember ... and wen u noe the folds u win more money =))

 

my aunties play mahjong especially during Chinese New Year..surprisingly, they don't feel restless though playing for several hours without break

 

i play wif my family occasionally but i play online almost everyweek : P

play for fun is good...not too much

 

I just play it for fun/to pass time. It's a damned expensive game at times though. I'd feel guilty when pocketing my friends' money too. =X But still, mahjong is NICE!

its a way of slow gambling not really in for the money its just the fact that so many people gathering there haha
