    lol, 'lan yum' annoys the hell out of me. Especially when I'm watching TVB and some actor or actress is speaking with 'lan yum'. It is just sooooo annoying. And the sad thing is, this is how most people (especially the younger generations) speak in HK. A lot of overseas canto speakers can speak better cantonese than these HKers, and they grew up in (probably even born in) a place where they most likely don't get a "proper education" of the chinese language. Sad, I tell you.

    wow.....i havent learnt something proper chinese in ages lol, this was pretty good....though my chinese pronounciation is actually pretty alright, as the common mistakes I dnt usually make, but theres the odd words I don't know which I end up pronouncing wrong because I pick it up from others...
    Maybe I should download this learning program series to improve my chinese lol...

    Well...There are still alot to learn. Cantonese is pretty easy. Right now, The Chinese could speak both, mandarin and cantonese.

    Speak Cantonese but not with the Hong Kong accent. Out of HK too long, my HK friends said I sound funny
