But it is true that the "majority" of the so-called singers in HK cannot sing. =_=b Shame on them for calling themselves singers.
nowadays.. it seems like EVERYONE can be a singer. i have to say that only 30% of the artists out there today, can SING. it's really sad to see our msuci world deteriotating.
well it is almost like a chinese golden rule that once ur an actor, ull turn into a singer, or if ur a singer, ull turn into an actor. that way, u can become more famous and well-known
Thats why I respect actors like Gong Li or Zhang Ziyi that stick to their craft instead of crossing over. Unless you're hot sh*t and talented at both like Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng, etc! Even Jackie Chan, who I remember listening to when I was a kid , has a new song out for his movie "The Myth" which is quite good. Its called "Endless Love" and its the end theme of the movie.
Most of them can't sing too sell. They all sell because of their looks. I don't think HK has too much new talent. You almost always see veterans carrying new people across all platforms.
yes, i sort of agree with this but twins these last 2 years they have improved a huge amount in there singer because they really did suck at first

I guess there are alot of HK singers that can't sing but because they have good looks or have connections in the buisness so they can become singers...i think its kinda sad but hey what can u do right? But there are also those with alot of talent...
ummmm, i dun fink all hk singers are dat bad.... some certainly hav dere differences but dere are also voices of odas dat stand out amongst de crowd...
yea i have seen alot of talent coming from hk. i think they are good singers but mando has better lyrics =)
i dont think hk singers now are as good as the early 90s...but some can sing and more of the others cant even sing at all....like practically anyone can be a singer even though they are bad...
