Do you think the galaxy is infinit?

I thought we have established in this thread that the universe is expanding -- but how about the numerous galaxies within? Doesn't most of the stellar bodies hold each other in place by their relative gravitational field?

 

ya but sooner or later, (most likely later), it will start to decay..
