yes test him out and pay attention to his reactions. some guys might say no but they really meant yes. im like that type of guy but the expression gives it off whether he likes u or not. so test him out in person. never do it over the phone or online.
Theres not enough information to tell you if he likes you or not. But my suggestion is if you really like him, you should make a move before it's too late or you'll always regret it.

Wow, I was randomly browsing this thread and I see my own. Well this is what happened. Over last winter we saw movies together and he told me he wanted to hang out with me before i went back to school. he always sent me text messages like "i had a good time" and i told him i really enjoyed hanging out with him. we even saw the movie valentines day together. but nothing happened. he sent me so many misleading signals..but i gave up on him. it hit me that nothing was going to happen...i haven't heard from him since then.
