I thought this movie was so so, not brilliant despite all the hype about it. I did like the special effects used for the movie and the fight scene, being a Donnie fan has helped too -rolleyes ... think it was the fact that this was a major comic book and the cast was well known actors has helped bring this to a box office smash hit IMHO.
there is a second part of this?? but anyhow I think that the movie is good I mean donnie yen is a great fighter since he came out a long time ago but then he is still a great fighter
this movie was all about donnie kicking butt. what did the other two characters accomplish? donnie just owned everybody. i kinda wanna read the comic now...
SPL was 10 times better than this... the fights were good... story sucked! The main enemy sucked even more... Sammo Hung's character in SPL would have ate him for a snack.
fight scenes were awesome. But as a watch it a second time, plot kinda went everywhere. Well i guess that's what happens when you base a movie of a comic, can't fit everything in there.
Agree, Donnie Yen evolved too much over every one of the other characters. I know he's the choreographer make up all the moves but he owned the movie, too ridiculous he can fight but acting was low....
i hope nic will get more screen time in the sequel. And most importantly......hopefully there will concentrate more on the story line....
