I thought the movie was OK...thou being a fan of the comics.. back when Jademan was translating them to English I didn't like how Turbo (WTF of a english translation is that) only used Nunchuks.. No other techniques... also How Donnie just kick the butt of the Firely Lord.... with out him putting up a bit of a fight... the movie was entertaining.. and I liked watching the fights.. but the story was pretty shocking..
I liked this movie... This movie was pretty good... If I had a choice I will choose to watch again...
this movie is good but in the final fight between dragon and shibumi its so unreal. in that scene dragon doesn't get a scratch on him and shibumi suffer lots damages.
that was the way donnie's character is supposed to fight - his main skill was "18 Dragon Subduing Palms" (translated literally from 降龙十八掌). however, nicholas was supposedly to be higher skilled than donnie in the comic book series - guess the storyline didn't follow too closely -lol
movie was based on comic, but some major characters were changed too much. personally did not enjoy this movie, especially if you have been following the comic series for a long time-sweat
Never saw the comics but imho the storyline was pretty bad! hey come one, he just woke up with massive power how lame is that!? What annoyed me also was how they tried to look so cool with their hair in their face, somehow reminded me of the girl in "The Ring". The fight scene were ok, a bit too "floaty", I mean when they hit a guy, he just floats back doesn't make it seems really powerful...
