    the texture is silky smooth in your mouth. But the smell really turns me off it

    i read in the paper a couple of days ago in the food section. Durian- "some have described it as like sitting on the toilet eating ice cream''

    love eating durians.....but never eat it in an air conditioned room.....smell never leave and after a while it stinks BAD!!!

    Oh no, I don't like this fruit. It really smells bad. I cannot imagine my self eating this. I dont think i will try either. no thanks.

    i love it even though it does smell :p
    but its nicer if you have frozen it dnt smell as much :)

    is jack fruit (di shu bor lor) the same family as durian?

    I simply love durians especially the yellow creamy types. In my country there are numerous varieties of durians. The exotic ones are the Raja Kunyit, Tracka, Red Prawn, etc. while the more common ones are the D24, D101.etc. I believe most westerners shun this fruit because of the strong smell.

    Durian Muchi is the best. I had it HK once and I can no longer find it. But they have Durian Pancake these days.

    Regret I didnt eat more of the Muchi!

    I think durian smells good, especially good to eat frozen, it makes it taste like ice cream!

    I like it. It tastes really smoothe and creamy. Too much of it can become excessive though. hahah
