that's because you didn't eat one that's stinky enough....the more stinky it is...the tastier it is -chef
no trust me.. if it like super extra... it's jus I dunno... not really feeling it.. and there's like two kinds... there are like darker n lighter ones..
yeah.....gotta seriously work up some nerves to eat stinky tofu.... i almost hurled the first time i smelled a whiff of it and the damn food stall was at LEAST a block away!
aren't u soppose to dip them in chilli sauce n those "sweet sauce"?? i've never had them either... can't stand the smell
It's funny.. people who REALLY love Durian says it smells really nice, perfume like, whereas people who hate it says it stinks. I think it tastes like green onion. I heard that it could cure asthma
everyone says durians smells, but i never thought it did until i went to a dessert shop in hong kong. they sold smelly durians and i thought it smelled like a waste management.. but overall durans are very tasty!
I love durian, the more ripe it is the sweeter it tastes. The smell is very strong but I like the smell and its does not smell like sick or poo. I can only eat a few peices at a time as it fills you up. I heard durian is the king of fruit and its the most nutritious fruit on the planet.
hate the smell... but after a recent 7month stint in shanghai i've changed my mind about smelly tofu, which i used to think smelt horrible. so who knows... maybe i'll change my mind about durian too.
Durians are great in taste but I admit they do smell but after years of eating, the smell doesnt even get to me
