Durian - smelly or tasty?

they smell bad but they taste okay

 

i use to think durian smells like hella crap and would run away, but i dont knmow for some odd reason i ate it and liked it alot. so now that i can eat durian and like it, i don't think it smells at all. same w/ stinky tofu. seriously, once u eat it u realize it doesnt stink

 

i used to dislike durian but once i taste it ......i think its great ......but maybe the smell is a bit weird for many people.....

 

ewwww smelly! BUt, it tastes alright too. but the smell over whelms me.

hmm... we had some sort of weird dim sum made from durian the other day and it actually didn't taste that bad. i just think that the aftertaste in my mouth was a bit weird.

 

I like durians. The smell is very fragrant when it's fresh. However, the durian smell has been in your car for a few days.... Yuck!

There is a cafe here that makes the most divine durian cake. They mix a few different types of durian, layer it between the cake sort of like a sandwich then chill the cake. It is very, very delicious but rather pricy.

 

Yes, they taste nice. But I dont have them too often anymore cause my father hate them... -surr

The smell just puts me off it... as soon as i smell it, i move away from it... lol

i love durian but not when its too ripe it taste nasty

 

when my family start eating durian, i leave the room or the house for a couple of hours. i just can't stand the odor..

personally...it neither smells good nor bad. it only tastes good

 

It's kinda strong to smell the first few times, but not that bad when you get used to eating Durian.

Pluss, I like how ppl react when they see me eat the stuff, and they're just smelling the fruit for the first time, lol.

 

Durian is the best fruit
