Don't know if anyone here follows football, but this young player apparently had been struck and killed by a dump truck on a Florida highway. What is bizarre is the deceased, who was on foot, was attempting to walk across an eight lane highway at 6 o'clock in the morning before the sun came up. Road speeds on Florida highways are up to 70 MPH, which means that most people would drive at 80 or more. In that limited visibility, there is literally zero chance of seeing him in time, not to mention that dump trucks move with such inertia that braking distances are overly long to begin with.
