Come on..The fact is he finally came up and say something. ENGLISH is his 1st language and i see that he expressed himself well in his speech. Its not like HK ppl dun und English rite. So ntg wrong. I believe EDC express and writes his speech better in Eng compared to Canto. He probably will end up looking silly like Gil's speech if he has done this in Canto. AND by speaking in Eng, all news like CNN,BBc and all can cover it easily. So he juz has to do it once and for all without transalators.
I read that some people blamed the media for publishing about the scandal. Ya'll gotta keep in mind that news media are around to serve us. Perhaps the scandal doesn't worth the big headline or some people simply not interested in knowing about the scandal altogether; the fact is that news media need the "sales". I think any popular stars or businessmen who are caught with such a scandal will most likely to hit the headline. Whether it will last, it's up to the readers, fans, etc.. The bottom line is that if you don't like to read or know about it, you always have the option to ignore it. Back to Edison, I still think he doesn't deserve any sympathy regardless of whether he delivered the speech in English or Chinese. He only popped up right after Lydia's death.
my predictions for this guy: he's gonna go to hollywood. in hollywood, sex tapes/pics help careers instead of killing them. he's gonna be a hit there and eventually this will be old news and hk will welcome him back again. there are always gonna be ups and downs in every person's life. the rule of life. he's not gonna go anywhere. edison's english is perfect and plus, he's already got an opening from the grudge movie.

as one veteran artiste commented... if you don't want people to see nude pixs of yourself... then don't take nude pixs... all of the people involved are victims but they must now shoulder responsibility for their actions... the females are adults (maybe except vincy yeung) and were neither drugged nor forced to take compromising pixs of themselves... of course edison should be chided for not taking more caution with his data.. but ultimately all artistes involved have to accept partial blame... just address the public and move on with their lives...
I thought I saw a report stating some gangster is putting a bounty on him being chopped~? But he still has the guts to come back and admit his mistake and also apologize to the people and the victims, that should be applauded.. But then of course he is still in wrong in whatever amendments he is trying to do...

hes going to end up in hollywood, technically he didnt do anything wrong, if thats wat he likes to do then he can. But i think Hollywood will love him cos of his looks and his past, and he can speak fluent english unlike jet li and jackie chan. He's already been in Grudge 2 and is he still in The dark knight? This guy knows how to make big bucks. Lets just wait and see whats in store next.

Once of all welcome to the entertainment business.... One there is so much that happens oversea and local that is just another show and tell. The one that should be blamed is the ones that is willing to take the picture and god damn they were not drunk nor high, please they took it upon themself for that, but in the other hand he should have either putten on a usb drive with a pass code or something on a computer please and on top of that you took it to repair and it happened to have fallen in to the wrong hand like reporters and Piz_head.
I feel like he is much the victim as the girls are. I mean he had his privacy invaded, I'm sure it wasn't his intent to have those photos published. Plus wonder why he chose to speak English on his aplogy speech.
