It seems he only did that so he could get better protection as a member has already posted. If he does decide to return to Hong Kong, he'll probably have Vincy by his side 24/7.

you know, I do feel sorry for everyone who's been involved with this. But I think Edison's a dumbass for sending his laptop with the pictures and vids to some repairman. What's even stupider is the girls who let him take the photos/videos in the first place. If you are going to record or take shots of yourself having sex/what not, the girls should be the ones keeping it. Don't they ever learn?! Also, I think it's funny how Paris Hilton got her big break from her sex video. She was able to laugh it off and even make a damn career and name for herself because of it. But when the same thing happens to these Chinese actors/actresses, it's completely shameful and blah blah. Double standards, anyone?
wow...he's being soo emo...slitting his wrist and stuff to secure the marriage with vincy? i think he's doing it because he's goin to be pretty poor after this and vincy's parents have money so he's probably lookin for something to sustain his life style cuz he's goin to be dirt poor after all of this. if he manned up to the situation the HK public might actually forgive him after all of it...but if he's being such a pussy about it...going to be hard for people to actually forgive him i wonder what the edison supports are saying about him now.....
