she pulled it out of her purse. her granddaughter said that the love letters were important but then 9GL said that the letters were fake and this is important (meaning the hand granade) and pulled it out from her purse. awesome series! the whole japanese invasion part was a little draggy but not too bad. i fast forwarded the ching ching parts as well but when she died i cried the whole time. it was a pretty good ending. they didnt really rush so it was good. they ended up together this time so that was nice. i really liked wayne lai's version of red butterfly. gotta find it to dl now.
I liked this series from the beginning but I thought it dragged a little bit during the middle but overall I really enjoyed this series. Wayne and Sheren are so great and both are my favorite actors on tv right now. I hope they both win during the Anniversary Awards. I thought the ending was good. I totally cried when Wayne and Sheren were separated then reunited. I loved the last scene when they are sitting on the bench and Wayne tells her that if he dies first then he will wait for her in the after life.
I agree with everyone here. The series was very addictive in the beginning but it slowed down. Didn't have as much epic in your face moments towards the ending. But I think TVB finished of this series very nicely unlike other series lately. Very good series. I actually think Pai Gwut's acting improved immensely in this series.
loved it, it was really really good, way better than CBML i was like crying lmao during the final ep...like non stop tears :( shows just how amazing it was... Wayne and Sheren for king an queen haha
people actually cry to this? -_- everything they say is so corny that even the dumbest on earth can predict their next line -.- just doesn't have to power to punch out a tear from my eyes
so are you saying the last convo has no effect at all? Sheren: Later, when i die, who is going to wait for me up there? Wayne: Depends if I go first or you go first, if I go first, then I wait for you!
not at all. It was predictable, cheesey, boring. even at 9gl's house where all the dudes storm in for the money, and lau sing goes save her. everything lau sing was gona say was boring, repetitive (he said the exact same thing when defending pai gwut), and just lame. sorry
i dunno, i quite liked it but i think i actually prefered the previous one..cos it had ron ng in it hahaha
I have not finished the series yet, but I am assuming her aunt wanted to cause some trouble, so she and her son could gain more ground, more power? So yes, she's real?
i cba to finsh the last 2 episode it started off good but everything became dull in the last 5-10 episode. anyways answering ur question yes. she is his real daughter the only imposter is his son.
What I love about this series is someone can wait for another person for so many years. Love is really something crazy. I wish I can find someone that I can go through such crazy event with and still be living and waiting for.
i didn't really like the series. it was okay, but it wasn't like that great. i felt the same with rosy business. it's kind of corny, how they always repeat each other's lines. But everyone seems to be buying it...
I have to agree with you. I haven't watched much tvb series nowadays cause there isn't any storyline to it. They promote like the wrong actresses. Or either that if they do have a good series they let crappy actors/actress have the lead role. TVB series qualities had dropped like 100 points to me.
Great series! loved it! great ending too. especially that last little scene "who's going to wait for me up there". And the song...gotta love the song. Wonder what the pictures mean though?
