I saved up a bit of cash and I'm planning to buy an entry level dslr camera. My budget is around $500. Canon T6 seems like the right fit for me. Anyone have any good recommendations for me? if u are going to get the canon. don't get the t6, pay a little more and get the t6i. here are the few advantages of the t6i... resolution 24mp > 18mp focus point 29 > 9 and most importantly the touch screen and flip screen. it really come in handy when u are taking pictures from a tri-pot or selfie. i own the canon sl1 for lite shooting and collect all versions of the canon 5d.
That bundle for under $600 is a good deal. I don't think even any black Friday offer can beat this offer.

Most Canadian stores offer the T6 with the basic lens for around $500. S,o the Amazon bundle might be the best deal for me. Amazon.ca Canon T6 Bundle ($589. Currently $610. Have to wait until the price drops back to $589) Also, on Amazon, I found a really cheap 75mm to 300mm for about $125. I need to research about this lens before buying it though.
