    this series has a little 2 much mando in it,can anyone translate what the ending of episode 8 is where the driver talks and his wife talks on phone/>

    learn some mandarin and you wont have any problems. only like 2% of the series has mandarin so I dont see why you're complaining.

    Ok, there was an earthquake in taiwan. So the driver called his wife to check to see if she's ok. Then when he was in the phone booth, I guessed the wife called his cell phone. The wife said she's ok, and that she visited Michael Miu's mother and she's ok as well.

    yeah....remember the bald mando guy isn't supposed to have any connection with ah michael miu whatsoever..so the lady is pretty suspicious..

    Comprehension: Basically, SUM JEI is raising suspicious regarding the DRIVER because initially, she asked the DRIVER what he thought of MICHAEL MIU.

    The DRIVER said he doesn't know MICHAEL MIU too well.

    TRUMP CARD: The phone call SUM JEI picked up was the DRIVER's WIFE. The DRIVER'S WIFE said she is OKAY, and that she checked MICHAEL MIU's MOM. This signals a connection between MICHAEL + DRIVER. Thereby questioning what happened that day on the attempted escape for TIAN GOR.

    i didn't really need to understand mandarin to get that scene and when the driver left his cell phone in his car seat :p kind of knew what would happen.

    Yeah the scene where the driver stood out too much, but oh well. Most the Mandarin scenes since the first scene with Mandarin have been similar enough to Canto to make out for me.

    mando isnt that much diff than canto, especially with the trad sub you such able to understand/guess its meaning

    I was saying its risky because she could of been bashed by Tin 7 and his gang and she wouldnt be able to defend herself, has nothing to do with being a chicken or not BB
