yeah starting a relationship online without ever meeting the other person in real life is a bit iffy, it's really hard to judge how they are if you really haven't met them. I once dated a girl that i met in the library (it was a friend's friend), on that day we met, we exchanged msn contacts and for the next 4 or 5 days we were chatting non stop and both started liking each other from those net conversations.

you should defintely go for it b/c you already have feelings for her, it wont' hurt. It's already difficult to really like someone and the connection you already have with her.
