You shouldnt do eyeliner. I never use eyeliner. Instead try this, because it works wonders for me. I have the same problem as you. - It might be the type of eyeliner you are using. Try different types. - Get a pencil brush and use a eyeshadow instead of a liner. All you have to do is wet the brush and mix the eyeshadow with the wet brush. This makes the eyeshadow look like liner when you use it. It stays longer and doesnt smudge. - Or you should get a thin brush and just brush on a little bit of eyeshadow over your eyeliner. Like if you have black liner on just use a fine brush and line over the liner with a little bit of eyeshadow. This makes sure it doesnt smudge or fade. These work for me. Hopefully they can work for you. If all else fails, just go to your nearest NORDSTROMS or MACYS and ask some of the girls at the make-up counters for tips. Theyre great.
hopefully u wont find this too strange coming from a guy. but i used to teach makeup especially modeling / theater. if you dont want your eyeliner to smudge it depends on which kind of make-up user u are. most people screw up the eyeliner by either using something wayy too cheap, or use too much of it in the wrong spots. it doesn't have to be super expensive stuff, but try to get something rated for all day wear. when using eyeliner, give your eyes a quick clean, just a buffer pad or a clean makeup sponge. if its cold where you live give your eyepencil a quick *ding* in the microwave, 3-5 seconds is more than enough. (test temperature first before applying). the top lid should rest right above the eyelashes, staying away from the tearducts, the bottom right on the top of the lower lid. you should be able to brush ur lower lid and not touch the eyeliner. give it a good 2-3 seconds to sink in before closing ur eyes. tip: if you want ur eyes to look bigger, extend ur eyeliner out the corner of ur eye 1-2 mm parallel to each other =) happy makeuping =)
Yes, I agree with a lot of the responses as to using waterproof eyeliner, however, with practice, liquid eyeliner can be quite useful and is easier to apply (as well as finer lines) to the eyelid then eye pencils.
i've always thought that liquid eyeliner will smudge 0_0 but i guess i'll have to give it a try =] i use Lancome's pencil eyeliner, it doesnt smudge, but it doesn't last long
another thing you could try is using a primer before putting on your eyeliner.. it works wonders for me!
The simplest way is to get an eyeshadow similar in colour to your eyeliner and either use a thin brush or a cotton bud and go over the eyeliner with eyeshadow, this will stop the bleeding and it will stay on all day
I use liquid eyeliner! hehe Stays on all night when I`m clubbing Is a bit tricky to put on first time, but I`ve mastered it now
Yeah if you can do it right, it looks really good. The only liquid eyeliner that I find that is the easiest to use is the ones like brushes, ie Ruby & Milly ones.
we we wanna see how much experience you got from the advice given to you....as its nearly been a year...we wanna see them hypnotising eyes of yours
Woah...You sound even more professional than a lot of chicks and good on ya for being such an observant husband bet you must treasure and love your wife alot -bigclap Lol...people on go for plastics to get double eyelids and not make it single hahahah -sweat so cud cancel plastics out...I guess for me firstly use waterproof eyeliner, secondly it is the brand you use I used Maybelline and it smears pretty bad however i've tried Revlon one and their products are pretty awesome in my humble opinion..So, in a sense the brand of the eyeliners affects it too...Last but not least always bring a small mirror with you to check if its smudged then you don have to worry...
sorry to tell u b-bear but they don't look very hypnotic to me... too small... typical asian eyes -_-2
