not in canada and it still isnt... i think hahaha. before it wasnt because we pay a levy on our cd's so for every cd(blank) you buy a bit goes to these companies. now its interesting that we pay this levy yet its still cheaper to get cds most of the time here thenit is in europe anyways now that the case has been settled we i think i dont remember but to the best of my knowledge we can still download like before BUT it is now illegal to UPLOAD files, which suits me fine =D hahaha i dont like to anyways >,< harhar
