ye thing is i always get the feeling that the body shop sells products for women, maybe cos from the fact that everybody who works there are female and it seems like only females go into the shop, u don't see any males going into the shop by themselves.
so many to choose from thanks! i dont have problems with my face until recently when i used that wash i've got small pimples breakin outtt
basically u dun want anything that foams up... otherwise it will nutralize ur skin n cause breakouts... get something that's pH balanced... cleansing milk is usually the best option... don't b embarrassed to get something that's not from the men's range...
Did anyone mention Cetaphil? It's pretty good as a facial cleanser, hypoallergic and very suitable for the summer (it MAY be kind of dry for winter use, depending on how cold and dry it is)
Try clinique liquid facial soap wash. It removes shine on surface and also exceeded oil. I think it works pretty well and i like it. It also gives you smooth skin after few washes.
puahahahaha i was thinking of the same thing... i use Cetaphil too... cheap n does a good job... however i find it not too effective on removing makeup with the one for normal skin... but i dun think that's ang's concern... unless he's gonna surprise us... :jump:
^ I think most make-up removing cleansers are too "strong" and drying for people without make up (it cleans TOO well and becomes a problem all by itself) And yeah, try Biotherm's men's line too. Vichy is good as a cleanser brand but it may be more suitable for winter use (leaves the skin slightly too oily to my taste).
Very true, I went with some friends who were all girls and one of the people working there asked me if I was gay... I was like...wtf.-mellow
Besides Cetaphil, try SpectroDerm too! It's another clinical strength face wash which is hypoallergic and fragrance-free...
I would recommend going to a reputable department store such as Macy's, Bloomindale's, or Nordstrom's cosmetic counters to get a skincare consulation. Since they have a variety of vendors, you can shop around before you purchase so that you are comfortable before you use the product.
hey, how much does cetaphil cost from where you live? I live in Canada and it's 16.99 CAN at shoppers =S. That's not really cheap lol
It's around CAD $10 at Pharmaprix (for a small size) and around $30 at Costco (enormous size). When you compare that to Neutrogena or OLAY or even Clean&Clear, it's not expensive AT ALL. (Not to mention those luxury brands like Biotherm or Kiehl... Oh yeah, Kiehl is awesome, albeit a bit pricey... Like $20 for a tiny tiny tube of cleanser...
if none of those work. Personally, I advice to ask a dermatologist! Also this article (2005) I found pretty interesting as to what some dermos think about facial cleansers: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,148399,00.html hope it helps...
