@pinkapples: ohh, haha. perhaps if i said "non-blood" that would have cleared things up a bit? what i meant were friends who are basically like my siblings. my second family.

Im closer to my mother too... Shes sorta like a friend to me too... we can talk about a lot actually.... except for sex... thats a bit too much...
My dad and I sorta have the same personality so sometimes (stubborn and short tempered sometimes) we just argue about lil things... I've never had the feeling that my dad and I had a very strong bond...
Whenever I call home and he answers the phone its like...
"Hey dad, How are u... Yeah the wheather is great over here... so what about in holland? Ok, can I talk to mum?"

    Hehehe

i guess i dont really have a choice when it comes to this..
i only live with my mom and brother..
but even though i only live with them two..
i still feel that i am closer to my brother..
i find it odd to talk to my mom about personal stuff ><"

I talk to my mother more. My father and I don't really talk. He's really stern....funny how Chinese people are like that.

    I'm closer to Mom...
but I'm also close to my Dad...
it depends on what issue and problems.
sometimes mom is too nosy so dad would be the easer one to talk to.

I usually associate more with my mother as she isnt as strict as my father. My dad has got a huge temper.

I think more would vouch for mommy, cos women show affections better. Fathers always have to play the strict and grouchy role, making them less approachable

My dad's stubborn, I'm stubborn. When we talk, we hardly stay calm...it's like two bulls charging at each other...lol and one will inevitably end up hurt. With my mom, she holds the red cloth, I charge, but will never hurt her. SOmehow she knows how to handle my rage. So it's mom all the way!

mum...even though she's always the one who gets angry most of the time....but she knows me inside out

  19. Im closer to to mommy, all my dad does is shove maths textbooks in my face.

  20. My mother is my idol, she does a lot more than my father and have a lot of uplifting experience stories that made me who I am today. I love both, but my father exuberates undesirable attitudes toward guests who comes for a house visit, like my girl friend. Besides, he doesn't talk much which makes it hard to communicate with the dude :\
